About me

Hello! My name is Rex Chu, and I am a proud third-generation acupuncturist carrying forward a family tradition of healing and wellness. Growing up immersed in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I developed a deep respect and passion for its power to restore balance and vitality.

From an early age, I was inspired by my grandparents and parents, who dedicated their lives to helping others achieve optimal health through acupuncture and herbal medicine. This legacy instilled in me not only technical skills but also the values of compassion, patience, and a holistic approach to care.

Acupuncture, cupping, herbal therapy,  and more.

My services

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a key practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that involves inserting thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body, known as acupuncture points (or "acupoints"). These points are located along pathways called meridians, which are believed to be channels through which Qi (vital energy) flows. The goal of acupuncture is to balance the flow of Qi and restore harmony within the body.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a traditional East Asian healing technique used to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote healing by gently scraping or rubbing the skin with a smooth-edged tool. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Gua Sha is believed to help release "qi" (energy) blockages, support blood flow, and alleviate pain.

Cupping
Cupping is an ancient therapeutic practice that involves placing special cups on the skin to create suction, which helps promote blood flow, relieve muscle tension, and stimulate healing in specific areas.

Herbal therapy
Herbal therapy, also known as Chinese herbal medicine, is a fundamental component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It involves the use of natural plant, mineral, and sometimes animal-based substances to treat various health conditions and promote overall well-being. Herbal therapy works to restore balance in the body's Qi (vital energy), Yin and Yang, and organ systems.
